📦 Geocache Sizes
Nano
< 10ml. Nut-sized, usually magnetic.
Micro
< 100ml. Ex: Film canister, PET tube.
Small
100ml to 1L. Holds logbook and small items.
Regular
1L to 20L. Tupperware or Ammo can size.
Large
> 20L. Large buckets or chests.

🟢 Traditional: Simple cache at the posted coordinates.
🟠 Multi-cache : Visit several stages (WPs) to reach the final.
🔵 Mystery / Puzzle : Solve a riddle to find the coordinates.
🌍 EarthCache : Geological site. No box, answer questions to log.
📬 Letterbox Hybrid : Contains a stamp for your personal logbook.
👻 Virtual : Location to visit with no box (photo/question required).
📱 Wherigo : Interactive adventure via a dedicated app.
📅 Event : An organized social gathering for geocachers.
🧩 Challenge : Mystery cache requiring a specific goal completion.
🏥 Lab Cache : Interactive experience (Adventure Lab) via smartphone.

TFTC Thanks For The Cache (MPLC).
FTF First To Find : The very first person to sign the log.
STF Second To Find : The second finder.
TTF Third To Find : The third finder.
DNF Did Not Find : A log entry for failed searches.
BYOP Bring Your Own Pen : Carry your own writing tool.
GZ Ground Zero : The exact spot of the coordinates.
CO Cache Owner : The person who placed the cache.
TB Trackable : An item with a unique tracking code.
Muggle Person unaware of the geocaching game.
Spoiler Clue or photo revealing the location.
WP Waypoint : An intermediate stage or location.
Hint Extra help provided by the owner.
P&G Park & Grab : A quick cache near parking (Drive-in).
CITO Cache In Trash Out : Picking up litter while playing.
Log Written record in the logbook or on the website.
SWAG Small items left for trading in caches.
D/T Rating of Difficulty and Terrain (from 1 to 5).
SOS Sign On Site : Signing the logbook at the location.
Reviewer Volunteer who verifies and publishes caches.
